Technology

TECHNOLOGIES USED-

"The effective Use of Technology in Education has changed the face of education and it has created more educational opportunities"

Throughout this whole process, in order to move forward we've had to use various technologies, the most obvious one being the computer where we have presented most of our work, whether on Blogger, or Powtoon or Prezi. We have used various internet presentation websites to showcase our ideas and evaluations, showing our starting processes and the final conclusions on what we think we could have made better and improved.
Because the task of this course was to create a film opening, we obviously needed to have used filming equipment, such as the camera and audio recording equipment. Not only have we filmed our thriller opening but we have also recorded an audio file for one of our evaluation questions, answering how we will attract our audience to the film, as well as presenting the script in an older blog post. We have also filmed a video response to another evaluation question, showing each the members of the group answering what things we have learnt throughout this whole course and if we have improved in these areas.

A large part of the film is down to editing, cutting and matching up shots as well as adding the various film credit titles and the opening sequence. These were all done on editing software. The opening sequence; the images as well as the credits, we all done on Photoshop. This was much easier to edit here rather than on any other editing software as I personally am familiar with Photoshot more than other editing programmes. On here I could also edit the images, adjusting their size and brightness/contrast, matching up to the audio and the fading effects.
The actual film was majorly edited on Korela, as well as Photoshot to require the best product.

I do not know much about the other members of the group, however I feel that, with Photoshot especially, I have excelled in editing and presentation, as well as production of work. Though skills may not be needed to film people talking about their work or to make an audio file, I feel like I have improved and learnt how to excel in these better.
